You can't really compare VJax to anyone right now because he hasn't played a snap this year. What you can look at is the fact he has produced in the past, reports out of SD are saying he is a beast in practice, and he has arguably the best current QB throwing to him. No one but VJax truly...
2 quick things..
1) I am not a Rams fan
2) I am a SJax owner and turned down several great offers for him
Steven has had injuries in his past but when he plays he is a beast. The O Line HAS improved this year by letting an oft injured Pace go and getting Brown and Smith. Barron's best year...
I would stay away from Knowshon unless you can sit on him for a year. I agree with there being a large RB committee in Denver this year. There is no denying the talent the kid has, but the whole situation even outside RB's is a mess; Marshall wanting a trade, a new QB, new system, new coach...
Since Jackson began starting for the Rams in 2005 he has never rushed for less than 1,000 yards even last 2 years year when he was hurt. How many games do you think he will miss?
Being in St. Louis, I was able to see Faulk first hand so I am biased towards him. I know people keep bringing up how great the offense was for the Rams, but I think it all started with Faulk, so while people are saying Faulk played with the better offense than LT got to, I say it is because of...
I'm not sure I agree with the offense being built around SJAX. It may ge going that way, but when Sjax was going crazy at the end of the year, the Rams were still throwing the ball plenty as well.
Wow, I pretty much agree entirely. To predict Barber to have one of the greatest offensive seasons as a RB of all time is pretty bold. We're talking 2,200 total yards and 18 TD's. That's more yards on the ground, in the air, rushing TD's and receiving TD's than both MBIII and JJ combined in...
With his low carry numbers, I am hoping he has a pair of "fresh legs" this year. While his running style is punishing, for him and defenders, I am really hoping he doesn't change to much. I think running the way he does, is what makes him a "possible" stud. I am guessing he will get stronger...
I'll be honest, I think it is wishful thinking, I just think the guy is on the edge of making ot big. IF he can run as a starter like he did last year as a split time guy. The guy is a beast to bring down
With Larry Johnson coming back off injury and hopefully refreshed, I can see him putting up Larry Johnson type numbers again. With Barber "potentially" being the guy now, (minus Jerry doing something drastic in the draft) will be his first time as a full time starter. I would hope his numbers...
