I think the Cards made an excellent choice bringing him in to fill the void left by Jack Buck. After Buck, they had Joel Meyers for a season and he was merely ok. But Rooney is a knowledgeable and classy guy and I couldn't be happier.

Actually, reading back, I see that an option is for every team to roll 24 8-sided dice before the draft to determine what round they pick in. I like that better.It's been a long day....make that a long week at work. My mind is fried.
