i have him, but am not particularly confident going forward. seems to me if you can get him for crap, you might as well, but his owner will probably be thinking "if all i can get is crap, i might as well keep him."
agreed. what would be the point of announcing the starter now. better to waste sd's time by making them prepare for multiple contingencies. still, i sure hope it's c pep!
If i was looking to trade him, i'd be looking for a solid wr3 in return. certainly you're not going to get a superstar, but the point i think would be to get someone who is clearly better than whoever you've got filling in for AJ and isn't so bad that you'll be completely miserable when AJ...
Ok, so I guess there's not much disagreement on this issue. be happy to hear from anyone who thinks differently. otherwise, thanks for the opinions guys!
If you had both, what would your strategy be? Trade one? Play matchups? Or, would one clearly be your default starter (WR3)?
Right now, I'm personally defaulting to marshall based on his YTD and his chemistry with cutler, however, I'm wondering if I'm just following early season trends too...
