Here is how my team came out drafting at 11
1QB/2RB/3WR/1 flex/1TE/1K/1D - 18 rounds
25 yards passing, 4 pt passing TD
10 yards rushing/receiving, 6 pt TD
1(11) - Marshawn Lynch (really like him this year)
2(14) Larry Johnson (was thinking about TO, but I am a sucker for RBs)
3(35) Torry...
My RF is Delmon Young, who has not lived up to expectations this year. My pitching staff is pretty stellar. I have Webb, King Felix, Kazmir, Hill, Mussina, Snell, and Hendrickson.
I was offered Hill for Jermain Dye in my roto league. This would solve my RF woes, and if Young ever comes around...
If you can get a combo of Carr for the next 3 weeks (at NY Jets; at Oakland; Tennessee) and Alex Smith for the last 3 weeks (GB; at Sea; Ari) thats not a bad filler for McNabb. Its not McNabb, but its not going to kill you down the stretch.
What do you all think?
12 Team, Non-PPR. Only 6-0 team, and I lead the league in total points by about 70 (I have 677, next closest has 604).
QB - McNabb
RB - Ronnie Brown
WR - TO
TE - Watson
W/R - Driver, Parker, Gore
Bench - Maroney, Branch, among others that will never play
I totally agree. TB D is alot better than they have played all year. I still don't buy into the Reggie Bush hype (yet). NO is not as good as their record shows. While it has been a great story, I think it will start to come to a close today. They will pressure Brees into mistakes and they...
I could not agree more. I am trying to trade for him in all of my leagues that I don't have him in. No one can question his talent, but he needs to stay on the field to show his talent. I think he is going to play the rest of the year with a chip on his shoulder and we all know about his ego...
But the question remains, who is their RB? I think that there could be value there, but until one of the RBs seperate themselves, they are going to be pretty useless.
I see all the buy low threads, and I am curious who you all think the sell high players are. Given the right offer would you trade McNabb, Gore, or Coles? What are your thoughts?
Is Brown going to remain the starter for the year (barring injury)? Will Lendale be the GL back or more of a roll? Is Henry just the backup or is he going to have more of a roll?
I had my draft last weekend, and I was drafting out of the 11 spot in a 12 team league. 10 RBs were off the board before my pick. I was between Lamont and Cadillac. In the 2nd I got Chad Johnson (passed on Peyton, not sure if that was a good idea or not). I was able to get Foster and Gore in...
I think Fitgerald will be the #1WR. If I am going to take a WR at 2.02, I am leaning toward Fitz (or maybe Holt). I think Smith is overvalued. And I don't want to own TO because who knows if he will be playing a full season. What do you all think of taking J Jones or Westbrook at 2.02?
So how is it that there are multiple choices for all other draft slots, OTHER THAN 11. Any help would be appreciated since there is no help in the sticky threads. Thanks
