I'll agree after playing FF for 11 years that rounds 1-3 are full of unprovens that ppl overpay for, but taking 3QBs isn't usually the answer. You have to think of each of these picks as options/lottery tickets that might pay off. Levon Bell for instance paid off big. You never really know.

Well, what you need to know about DVOA, it that it is heavily biased by the team in the case of running backs. So, it is not always a great tool at comparing RBs on different teams. They have different blockers, QBs, etc.Houston RBs, for example, almost always have higher DVOAs than Arizona...

YPC means little. The effectiveness of the run means everything. If Battle was getting his runs on 3rd and 1, 2 yards is great. If Matthews is getting his runs on 3rd and 6, 5 yards is bad.After four weeks, Football Outsiders has Battle the 7th best RB in the league in terms of DVOA...

In a PPR I went Calvin, LFitz, Brees. Got Grownkowski in the 8th. Rest of the team basically didn't matter.....9-4 and in the Championship game. Regularly got nothing out of the RB spot, but it just didn't matter.
