As an Eagle fan,I've seen AJ ,if he is starting it will be due to a bad line and fear of killing the franchise QB.Alas,if the line sucks, with AJ's serious lack of mobility ,he will be injured by midseason. Hope there is a third option.
IMO Maclin and Jackson will put up good numbers, but if you are looking for awesome numbers, don't look for any Eagles WR/TE/RB to fit that bill.Maclin,Jackson,Avant,Weaver,McCoy,Celek and Ingram will all get their hands on the ball.IMO this is going to be a fun offense to watch, but Kolb may be...
As an Eagle fan, I don't give the enemy much credit, but I genuinely liked DG. With a lot of stars, you tire of their "act" .I never had the notion that DG was putting on a show. Class, A+ ability ,stuck to a WR like glue and NEVER quit on a play. I wish he had played for the Eagles.
The worst part of AR is sticking with a QB who does not fit his scheme. #5 would be a great fit in a run first offense,a system that can use play action.I scream at my TV every stinking time I see us pass 5 straight plays and then 5 fakes a handoff.Who the hell are you fooling ?
This is why,as an Eagle fan I don't like using a 1st on him. This is thought by many to be the deepest draft in years. If I'm a GM this is 1 year I want to have a stockpile of picks. Don't waste a pick if there is a question about heart or motor.
We had a S new to the system, welost our nickel for 4 games and he didn't play well IMO,we had a S enter the picture who was a rookie and hadn't played the position and everyone but Mike Caldwell suited up at LB including Trotter for pete's sake.We also had a DC in year 1.A nice long offseason...
Hi guys, haven't been here for a while. I don't think you trade Kolb for anything less than 2 #1s. He is exactly what this offense needs. I long for the day when we hit a WR on a slant in stride.Kolb has the quick release that 5 does not /will not and has never had.I long for a receiver having...
I've heard too many experts mention Wells lack of consistant effort and heart,I hope the Birds see his lack of receiving ability as well and stay away from him.
Jones said something to the effect that he wasn't sure if he would be comfortable here so he only wanted a 1 yr deal, but should he find he likes the place then he would be willing to work something out.
