In many cases kids develop more practicing every day with varsity even if not getting much game time. In some situations JV can be a bit of a wasteland, for lack of a better word.

Mostly money-grabs, primarily a means for low-paid assistant coaches to make a few extra bucks. Be selective and realistic, attend only those that are reasonable matches for your kid's skill level.

I posted this in another thread, adding it here - if anyone hears of somebody with Friday tickets who would rather go on Saturday I am looking to trade my Sat tix for Fri.

Yep, cost is absurd. I got my 4 for $750 ea (face), will need to sell if I can't change to Friday. If you hear of anyone looking to switch days let them know Nigel from the internet is a willing trade partner.

Got in at $16.09 in Jan '24 (10-bagger!), thought I was smart to sell 2/3 when it hit $60. Then it quickly shot up to $125. Bought another chunk in March pull-back at $81 which has doubled quickly but man do I rue the day I gave up those cheap shares. Holding what I have for the long haul.

Having great inlaws is a true blessing, so many not as fortunate. My condolences Joe. I lost an incredible MIL myself this am. Lived with us 20 yrs. She was the best.
