Connecting through Vegas right now on my way to Tulsa. I forgot to bring a few one dollar bills for the slot machines, not that I'd actually win anything but when in Vegas....
It's weird being here for anything but a debaucherous dudes' weekend.
 The summer this movie came out was "The Summer of ALL Movies" for me and my best pal at the time. I think we saw pretty much every movie that came out that summer. And it was easy to "theater jump" back then. I think we watched Howard the Duck (albeit not in its entirety each time)...
I don't even like sour cream that much but I love these chips. I've been on a kick with their plane jane ones for the past year or so, though. I keep a bag in my office for snack breaks where I feel like I need something salty.
I'm headed out of town until Friday. As I noted in my OP in this thread, my work trips tend to make me "devolve" a bit. Definitely getting some fast food lunches, greasy local haunts for dinner and plenty of beers... just not too many since I'll need to be up fairly early (and in a time zone...
See what the OC of his old flag team is doing with his son (who my son got along with real well). There's a chance he's playing flag again. If not, perhaps just sign him up for the flag league and have him play on a random team... and then do tackle next available season.
I go through a lot of Ruffles. Both the original/plain flavor and the Cheddar & Sour Cream. Just for convenience and "you know what you're getting" sake, that's my vote.
This kinda-sorta reminds me of my honeymoon on Maui. We arrived late, drove 20-30 minutes to our B&B right on the water but woke up to an absolute spectacle the next morning.
If anyone's ever in or around Costa Mesa, CA, I can't recommend Hole Smokes BBQ enough. Apparently there's also one on the north side of Huntington Beach, too.
Offshoot of the Hole Mole franchise; apparently the owner spent several months touring Texas to get the process / flavors down pat...
Ugh, I know I watched the first one and went back and watched the trailer just to make sure I remember the plot and whatnot, cuz I'm going to download OG2 for my plane ride tomorrow. Bummed to hear it was "flat" but it'll fit the bill of 2 hour time-waster.
Yeah, the league we're normally in has Spring and Fall but we wanted to have him doing something sporty this summer so we got him into this. It's significantly less popular (only 5 games plus playoffs).
