Yeah things are sizing up nicely for Charles. He's fresher because Jones takes more than a handful of carries every week. Would we want Charles with an additional 8-10 carries per game? Sure, of course. But heck, the guy could be hurt or more worn down at this point if he had 40-50 more...
The guy is a first-round pick that was the "PPR slot god" before Collie. With Collie out, he has a chance to regain his crown. White is an undrafted FA that should feel fortunate to be a #4 WR on a team like the Colts.
If Gonzalez's wheel is somewhat close to 100%, you'll want to own him.
PPR? Charles. I voted Charles, assuming it's PPR.
Non-PPR, I'd probably lean LT. He's looking spry and the Jets will run, run and run more as the winter games approach.
That said, Charles' importance to the Chief offense will continue to increase. Jones could be an afterthought in 2-3 weeks.
VY appears to favor Britt. When Britt's head is screwed on straight, he's actually a semi-dominant receiver. Gage and Washington are also under-achievers but I don't think they have anywhere close to what Britt has in terms of talent.
I've seen people jumping ship on Britt with Gage's return...
Not sure if it was my first overall fantasy football pick, but it's most certainly the one I remember the best from my very early days. Was the 99-00 season, he was coming off a huge season, his first with the Jets, where he threw for 29 TDs to only 7 INTs. Good ole Vinny Testaverde.
I had...
Anyone local to the Central Texas area (Austin preferred) looking for a brand new auction league? We are all fantasy football veterans, but have yet to try the auction format.
Draft will be held in South Austin (Circle C subdivision) at 1pm this Saturday, the 9th. Beers, brats and burgers...
I've already touched on my strategy a bit in an earlier post, but just to review, it's my contention that this year is going to be unlike any other fantasy season in recent memory. I believe RB is ultra-deep due to not only a strong rookie class, but those rookies - and others - making up a...
Sent a PM to taznib, letting him know the timer expired and that I would give him a half hour or so... didn't hear back and he didn't pick, so I picked.
That pretty much sums it up. With all the RBBCs this year, I knew I'd get some solid RBs in the mid-late rounds. Very happy with Deuce and Bradshaw as my #2/#3 guys there.
I typically target a stud WR somewhat early, and then grab a few upside guys (ie, White, Gage) and a few deeper sleepers...
Any way this topic could be pinned? Not sure about the other Survivor contestants, but I find myself in this thread quite a bit; reviewing the 2nd post, mainly.
Thanks!
In this "best ball" kind of league, having 3 wicked-good LBs can really be a killer. I've been in a league similar to this in the past and having a sure 60+ points per week from your LBs is nice.I may suffer elsewhere, but there's a ton of depth at otherwise tricky positions this year. This has...
