Out of curiosity what’s your biggest concern with the Lions offensive players not delivering at ADP? Goff regression? Defense better? Too many mouths to feed?
Certainly possible he will struggle but the comparison to Pitts being “wasted” is simply irrelevant. Pitts had 1000 yards his rookie year which is almost unheard of for a rookie and was injured a good chunk of his 2nd year with absolute trash throwing the ball to him. Plus, the Falcons skewed...
Here’s the way I see it:
Pros:
High draft capital
Elite talent
Excellent offensive line
Weak division/soft schedule
Arthur Smith commitment to running
Cons:
Other capable RB’s on roster
Weak QB’s limits offense output
There is some risk there for sure, but I can’t imagine the Falcons...
Wow, I mean maybe Jax overachieved last year but bottom 3 in the league? With the addition of Ridley and some solid draft picks and Lawrence looking like a future star? This is really, really bold.
New Orleans put him back on the practice squad after the game so he wouldn’t have even been a backup to Kamara. In Denver, he’s at least on the active roster even if he only gets a few carries a game. Seems like a clearer path to relevance with a less talented starter in Denver to overtake.
Assuming he’s traded, I’d say it’s 7% he DOESN’T play this year. No one will bother trading for him and not give him a chance to showcase his ability. He did score last week so he’s not that rusty. Now does he play in all 14 remaining games? Maybe that’s closer to 7%. I’m sure it won’t be...
Well in fairness Mack is a top 5 overall defensive player. Cousins is an above average QB. I don’t see the similarity
To add to that, Mack was the 2016 DPOY. Cousins barely cracked the top 100 of NFL players.
I like Cousins and I’m glad the Vikings signed him, but there is no comparison...
Was thinking about this today....Royce reminds me of Michael Turner when he was on Atlanta. Big guy that doesn’t look like he runs very fast but is powerful and has good balance. I see Royce having a similar type of production as Turner did. Not many catches....better for a TD heavy...
We do an empire league. If an owner wins back to back years or three times in 10 years they drag the whole pot. If no one does either after 10 years the league ends and everyone gets an equal share of the pot back.
