As I posted in the Seattle game thread...
This. Is why Carroll has been fired twice before. Everyone in the stadium knows where Lynch is running... 11 of 13 to left tackle. And its the BACKUP left tackle.

I'm not watching, but have heard that the line is playing poorly. All 3 runs were behind left tackle. IF that is something the Cards saw on tape (a strong preference to run left in short yardage), they can overload it and kill the play. But again, I didn't see it.
Its possible. Benson did it. Thomas Jones did it. Maroney has had some productive streaks...
but I'd probably invest in Michael Bush, a free agent after this season, or T. Choice, who should see carries 50/50 with Felix Jones next year- I assume Barber and his salary will be gone. I think...
Ivory and Betts have been ok, though they could work on holding onto the football.
The WRs are dropping too many. The O-Line is underperforming.
Biggest change: Brees is making some terrible decisions with the football. Really, really bad choices.
I think this is wrong. The three weeks started when his drunk driving suspension ended.ETA: Its been reported both ways, beginning in week 4, and not beginning until he signs.
The Patriots, with two picks in rounds 1, 2 and 3 certainly have the firepower to make a trade.
I have a hard time seeing Seattle trade away another draft pick after the Lynch deal.
Grant wasn't considered much when the Packers traded, IIRC, a 6th to NY Giants for him. I don't think they will trade much of anything for a RB, certainly not enough for Lynch or Choice.
Brian Billick should be pretty desperate for another chance.
Mike Martz, if Al is committed to a passing game, no matter how inept it is.
Jim Fassel begged for the gig before and didn't get it. Maybe.
He traded Gruden for picks. Would he trade picks to get Jeff Fisher?
None of it really...
Are you prepared to apply the same logic to the big PT second half against the Bills? Drop that 126 yards and 2 TDs from the PT stat line b/c he was playing with fresh legs against a tired defense?
I'm holding on to him. He is a FA after 2010 season. There was some speculation that Al featured Fargas yesterday b/c the trade deadline is approaching. I like Bush long term. Right now, the team is a mess, and they haven't given him carries. Don't know if that changes later in the season...
