    ***OFFICIAL Steelers 2005 draft Warroom***

A lot of people have been trashing the Essex pick, but I like what I have read about him. I have not seen his technique, or agressiveness, quickness, or ability to finish a block ever questioned. What I have seen as negatives were his upper body strength, weight control, and committment to the...

Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought you meant that we had 2 first round picks this year. I will return to my rock pile now.

    ***OFFICIAL Steelers 2005 draft Warroom***

Um, have I been under a pile of rocks? Where did we get 2 first round picks and a high priced center? I know we have an old center with questionable knees coming to the end of his career and his contract is getting as big as it will ever get, but we definitely need to start...

***OFFICIAL*** PATRIOTS / STEELERS SIG BET

Just owning up to the sig bet. I have lots of good things to say about the Pats at this point. I just don't have the heart to talk about it. :stillers: :blackeye:

***OFFICIAL*** PATRIOTS / STEELERS SIG BET

I'm in for the bet. :stillers:I haven't read the options yet, but please make it classy. I'm not anywhere near a confident as I was going into last week, but I have to stick with my team.

    New England @ Pittsburgh

I'm not sure if either of you are reading the same thread that I am. This has been the most respectful and thoughtful debate that I can remember on this site in a really long time. In general I have been impressed by the fans on both sides.Any chance we can stay with that theme?

    New England @ Pittsburgh

I certainly agree that the Pats have the mighty "IT". However "it" is often lost without warning or reason. I see no warning signs or reasons to expect "it" to go away, but... While it is certainly true that those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it, there is also truth...

Don't try to sell that to a Bruins fan.

Advice for Colts and Steelers fans

Every year the Steelers open up a few thousand tickets for games to non season ticket holders. You have to snail mail them a letter listing three games that you would like go to. If you are lucky they then select you and the one game that you get two tickets to. I have yet to be that lucky...

Advice for Colts and Steelers fans

I have been to about 10 Steelers road games in the last 10 years I have never seen a stadium that wasn't full of Terrible Towels. Oh and by the way Dallas in week four was before anybody had any clue what this year would be. By all rights we should have lost that game and had every reason to...

Advice for Colts and Steelers fans

I can't speak for Colts fans, only for Steelers fans who can't get a ticket in Pittsburgh do to the 25 year waiting list for season tickets that has existed since the 70's. That is why you see 20,000 plus members of the Steeler Nation selling out Cleveland, Cincinatti, Dallas, Jacksonville...
