I am a little surprised there isn't more buzz about Thornton. Size/speed/age are all really positive. Production is a big red flag. And I've been weary of Tennessee receivers in the past (Hyatt for example) but a number of these guys have done reasonably well.
Got the same top four, but was deciding between Royals and Bryant for the third spot. Went Bryant bc of the coachspeak as well. Horton and Thorton are the only others really on my radar at the moment.
It took me awhile to realize that I got no beef with Cowboys fan, I was just triggered by the username/avatar combo.
Can’t we all just agree that the Yankees suck or something?
He's always reminded me of Dez. Maybe Ceedee will let him wear 88.
I've had Pickens on the trade block for almost a year now. Surprised no one is sniffing around because it is easy to imagine a huge upside.
I think you are both right here...
1. A legal play shouldn't provoke an illegal response
2. The league should take a closer look at the play and the subsequent responses
It wasn't just Luvu in the playoffs this past year. Vita Vea tried to rip off Hurts' head the year before. It would be...
I guess it’s possible that Ceedee is such an alpha that Pickens falls in line, but I don’t see it. I’d be worried that the culture in Dallas is not ideal for Pickens to lock in, and he could very well make things substantially worse in the locker room. I think Gabe Davis would have made more...
Packers should have focused their off season efforts on scouting and preparing for the draft rather than rule changes to knock down their top competition. That was awful.
Word is that the NFL is also trying to prohibit teams from having two players with the same first name, effectively making the Eagles have to choose between their star player on defense and their star player on offense, Carter and Hurts.
8 as a rookie is pretty unheard of, but you could be right if the colts make a concerted effort to scheme him the ball. And they could, if for no other reason than to justify the investment.
When I’m looking at TE, I usually just want to know if the player can get to 100+ targets. If so, it doesn’t matter much to me where they are coming from. I don’t expect that from Taylor as a rookie or anything, but they are there for the taking. Not sure you can say that about Indy and Chicago.
Taylor seems to be overshadowed by the round 1 rookies and I’m not sure why. Seems to me that almost every year there are teams willing to use first rounders on TEs as sort of luxury picks while other teams find similar talent slipping to the 2nd round. I like Taylor at ADP a lot more than...
