Freeman has a great match-up and should deliver if the touches are there, but Conner's on a team fighting for a playoff spot and should be getting as many touches as possible to that end. I think that moves the needle to Conner in my opinion.
I was about to echo The Fungi's answer, but...I don't know if I'd count on Slayton as a safe play with the change in QB to Manning.
The Giants will have everyone back except maybe Engram (expected to play right now, but maybe not full strength). I'd expect Manning to trust the WRs he's used to...
My league starts TEs as WRs, and we start 3. PPR, 1 pt. for 15 RecYds. I'm wondering if Pascal is a better play vs. TB than Kelce vs. NE.
The Patriots aren't bad against TEs, and you know they'll be looking to shut down the KC offense and re-establish themselves after a rough 4-game patch. On...
Wow, nice RBs!
I'd agree with the consensus so far and leave OBJ on the bench. I think CLE will play hard, as they're not completely out of the playoff hunt, but I don't have any faith in (1) Kitchens to be able to game-plan with success or (2) Mayfield to get OBJ the ball consistently.
I think I'd also go with ATL against CAR this week. I'm a bit worried about CAR playing with some renewed vigor (1) because of the coaching change, and (2) to get revenge for the first game these 2 teams played. But I worry more about TEN this week. They've been hit with injuries on the...
I'd also take the deal. I think Henry has now proven that he can be a stud fantasy guy. Bell hasn't been bad with the Jets, but he's not the stud RB he was with PIT. And as much as I love Julio (I traded for him in one of my leagues a few weeks ago), he's quickly running out of gas.
For this...
I think I'd go with Hill, Hopkins, and Washington. ARI will give up long TDs; if it's not Vance McDonald, I like Washington for at least one TD this week. I don't trust that the Rams are back just because of last week.
WR: I would go Julio and D Adams unless Julio doesn't practice this week, but I wouldn't argue if you went Lockett (he's not going to get shut out 2 weeks in a row).
RB: I want no part of the KC backfield this week unless there's a gun to my head, so I'd go with Carson and Penny.
Flex...
Am I just in my own head on this, or should I be considering benching Russell Wilson? QBs score 4 pts. for PaTDs, 1 pt. for 30 PaYds, and -1 pt. for INTs, otherwise standard scoring.
CON: Wilson has trended lower the last 3 games, although admittedly against some fairly good defenses (@SF, @PHI...
Assuming Cook is NOT ruled out this week, I'd also go with Penny, and I think it would be regardless of whatever happens with Conner. I wouldn't trust Conner to get through an entire game until I see it first. Penny is currently giving the best results you can expect from him, so ride the hot hand.
In my opinion you should start Laird if you estimate your win % to be high with a high floor at the position. If you believe you need a high-ceiling performance at the position to win, go with Hollywood. I couldn't trust either Slayton or Miller given the circumstances you noted in your post.
