Best "Pure" Players at any position

Jerome Brown of the Eagles in his brief career was almost unblockable. His life and career were cut way to short in automobile accident.

Ryan Mathews....no respect?....get on this hype train

Certainly looks like a fine prospect and not to nit-pick however he has that upright running style which doesnt always translate well in the pro game. If he cant get his pad level lower it could lead to difficulty in the short yardage game. This type of style also leads to injury or problems...

    GB - ARZ

If these types of games were a weekly occurence then it wouldn't have the same appeal. I dont think the game was classic however it was the most entertaining of the weekend. Hey, it was a damn good shootout, they happen once in a while and with the importance of the game that gave it some drama...

    Rodgers / Jennings vs Seattle

I have this combo going into our Championship, I hope these two have an explosion of epic proportions, one that will go down in the annals of fantasy football history as one of the single greatest week 16 performances ever...like, lets say Rodgers 400/5 and Jennings 200/3

Hey Guys, I seem to have a few owners that think that there isnt a pro

Certainly, you can still win your game with an incomplete lineup. For me however this is as much about maintaining a level playing field with respect to the lineup requirements that your league has. And someone not fielding a complete lineup is not keeping with the spirit of competition that...

Hey Guys, I seem to have a few owners that think that there isnt a pro

Listen I understand that with a Dynasty league you can have your hands tied in some situations. However I still see it as someone submitting a non-competitive lineup and that upsets the competitive balance and/or running the risk of altering the standings in the league. That is not fair to the...

Hey Guys, I seem to have a few owners that think that there isnt a pro

I'm assuming he would have known prior to the season starting that he had a bye week issue in week 5. We had the same situation in our league (Gates/Finley) He simply picked up a TE.

    Bradshaw vs. Jacobs

As with most here I agree that Bradshaw is simply outplaying Jacobs at this point. Bradshaw was bottled up at the line on a couple of occasions but simply changed direction found a different crease in the line and was able to exploit it. Jacobs has trouble getting his pad level down which makes...

The guy had 5 weeks to sort this out!!!

Hey Guys, I seem to have a few owners that think that there isnt a pro

Our league has an "Incomplete Lineup Clause" The first time is a $20 fine, the second a $50 fine and a third...well we'll find a different owner. And this has no time frame either, and it's clearly understood. Now having said that we understand that players who are game time decisions coupled...

LOL @ Profootballtalk.com on McNabb being jealous of V

I remember watching a game after Garcia had taken over for McNabb. Garcia's sitting on the bench looking over pics of the defence. McNabb comes over asks to see them and promply turns around and walks off with them, Garcia has to chase down the sideline and he wouldn't them back. It was really...

    The NFL greats

Maybe although Fairbanks was a disciple of Bud Wilkenson, the OU coach who was among the first to experiment with the 3-4. I would assume it was around in some forms at the NFL level previous to Fairbanks introducing it to his Patriot defence, however he may have been the first to use it as a...

    The NFL greats

OJ Simpson. I remember reading this a years ago so if anyone can elaborate on this it would be appreciated, my memory is getting hazy. In effort to neutralize Simpson the Patriots under Chuck Fairbanks brought in the 3-4 defence, the thinking being that it would be easier to contain him with 4...
