Rolled his ankle coming back to the ball on a catch. Hobbled/hopped off of the field. Will be very interesting to see how severe this is. Three weeks until opening day would seem to be enough time to recover, but ankles can be tricky, especially if it is a high ankle type sprain.

Easy to say Palmer looks awesome now when all game factors are in his favor (running effectively, potent SD offense crapping the bed). He's looked great tonight but let's not be hasty and assume this one outing re-affirms his status as anything beyond mediocre.

holmes hasn't had a catch since his lone 19 yarder in the first half. Greene seems to be gaining yards at a pretty good clip on the ground (and surprisingly through the air as well). Jets just not looking for Holmes or did he get dinged up?

mike williams seems to be a relative non factor. Freeman's stat line doesn't seem to indicate he's effective today? Are those conclusions accurate? Obviously Blount laying down a fierce turd of a game doesn't help.

On the Ingram/NO backfield dynasty front, didn't Pierre Thomas sign an extension with New Orleans in March? Maybe I am misremembering here. Obviously they could still trade him but I'm not sure what the market would be. Mid-round pick at best.

zach miller re-injured? Ineffective? Just not targeted?
