My alternatives are Russel Wilson @IND and Terrelle Pryor vs SD...
never mind Hoyer, I'd take my chances with just about anyone facing Buffalo at home.
I agree with this. Before all this indignation, there should have been a civilized step where the rookie owner was allowed to argue his case and defend his trades in a transparent manner. Mocking and trash-talking will certainly impede that step, but nevertheless, it should be allowed to happen...
that's what I'm considering right now... picked up Bolden last week, but the Patriots being notoriously opaque with their injury updates, i have no idea of he's expected to dress anytime soon after his injury.
My thinking though, is that if the two have similar potential, perhaps it's wiser to...
I remember thinknig the same thing a season or 2 ago about theTitans and their use of Chris Johnson. The determination with which they had him pile between the tackles for no gain boggled the mind when he's the type of runner who given a few yards of space could work miracles with his jukes and...
That's the WW RB i've had my eye on right now granted it's entirely speculative at this point. reports say he's jumped the queue to #2 and is considered to be an all-round back as opposed to a 3rd down back by his staff. Dont know how much upside he has but RB's are few and far between...
thinking ahead, while everyone in your league scrambles for Palmer and John Beck and with the Bengals picking up possibly 2 good draft picks in next year's draft, wouldnt this be a good time to pick up Andy Dalton in keeper leagues and stash him for next season? Decent backup QB taboot if the...
if this post about Steve Johnson being injured proves to be true (http://forums.footballguys.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=611368), then that's another point for Nelson
Thanks for backing up my claim with some STATS! (i must shamefully concede that i was making a point based on conjecture and assumptions)*high 5*
How about David Nelson (BUF)?
Not a sexy name or a sexy team BUT: 4 receptions on 6 targets for team high 66 yards.
Fitzpatrick seems to be throwing a lot. Playing Oakland this week. Stevie Johnson is going to draw a lot of attention atthis rythm, he might benefit.
could be a decent pick up...
After a bye week in the first round of playoffs, I made the following pick-ups from the WW this week to fill in some gaps
Jason Campbell playing at home against a reeling Denver (gap left by an injured Rodgers)
Owen Daniels
Cardinals D @ Carolina (to sub the Packers D which is likely to get...
not to mention interceptions with the QB play, doesnt matter if they field the local community college secondary.but then surely there are other better Defenses that can do similar jobs: Why wouldnt the Lions D do just as well against the Bears?
In most leagues they rank in the bottom tier in scoring, with only 6 picks, 6 sacks (Jared Allen where have you gone?), 4 Forced Fumbles, and one defensive TD, they've been outscored by other average-at-best Defenses such as the Colts, the Fins, the Browns, the 49ers, etc..
Yet somehowe their...
12-team PPR Keeper league.

RB: Chris Johnson (kept from 2 seasons ago), LeSean McCoy (kept from last year), LT, J Ringer, J Forsett (that bet didnt pan out)

TE: J. Finley, M. Lewis

Hurting at WR and...
I wonder if Rodgers is feeling any pressure to start given that his predecessor was the "Iron Man" of the NFL who never missed a start, ever. Granted in this case , it may be greater instances that end up preventing him from taking the field (ie NFL rules re: concussions).
I'm sure the coaching...
