Because you play to win.  Flores and Fitz have seen Tua in practice and both know that he is the best QB right now.  Football Outsiders will adjust accordingly.  Fitz was recently gushing over how Tua makes throws that he couldn't think of making.

I'm very pleased with the pick. Miami has a good QB in Moore but anytime you have a chance to upgrade that position, I think you take that chance and Ryan has great potential.

Agreed, Ronnie is their best player. But... Ricky Williams has been playing very well as RB2. The Jets have to find a way to shut both of them down.

Anyone who isn't blind could see that Ronnie was running better than Ricky. It was very clear. Ricky looked his age. This is also why Ronnie is taking more first team snaps at practice this week. Barring a setback with his knee injury, I expect Ronnie to start.
