I've become an expert on grilling steaks so that ours is done at the same time and hers is brown all the way through.. Same thing, no red whatsoever.. She'll cut it up and put it in a frying pan if it does..

Well, to be fair, it's not MY set up.. I just have access to it.. I grew up in a salvage yard which my dad still owns and I can use it whenever I want (have keys) . And I'm currently the GM of a collision center that obviously has all the equipment/tools I'd need to use.

The most money saving DIY auto repair that someone that's handy can do, is brakes. That being said, I have a garage with a hoist, air tools and if necessary, torches. It can't be stuck if it's a liquid. I can't imagine doing it in my driveway with jackstands and hand tools...
