I'm driving myself crazy over a week 16 starting D/ST.
The league allows graded scoring for both yardage allowed (<200= +3 ... 450+= -3) and points allowed (shutout= +10, <7= +3 .... 35+= -3), but otherwise it's typical D/ST scoring (return TDs count for the D/ST)
I have these four to...
I think you missed that he has Dwayne Washington (inactive today) and not DeAndre Washington (OAK). I'd probably drop Washington over Henry and play Powell.
I'm agonizing over TE this week (standard, no PPR). I can choose one of these: Allen, Henry, Tye, Rodgers, Tamme, James
Your rankings seem to go with Allen in a hunch. Just wondering why you like him more than say Tye or Rodgers. Thx!
Bloom,
I have to say that I am a little surprised at how high you have Lacy this week @DEN (even with no Starks likely). Both teams well rested and coming off the bye and obviously Lacy is most likely feeling healthy at this point.
0.5 PPR
I'm trying to decide b/w Lacy, Duke Johnson (vs ARZ)...
hey bloom,
was checking out the 10-second primer this week for one of my teams and noticed your rankings had Spiller over Vereen on one of my PPR teams
so you think the Saints will finally take the training wheels off Spiller this week? just interested in any comments you have about these two...
in semis this week and facing a tough opponent (no PPR)
i am having a tough time deciding on Flex & TE, but here is what i have to choose from for 2RB, 2WR, 1Flex & 1TE spots:
RB Forte
RB Ingram
WR Jordy
WR Julio
Flex Crowell, Hill, Gordon
TE Cameron, Witten
no decisions to make...
if you want Turner, i would try swapping the 1st 2 picks with the guy in 5 or 6 slots ... chances are Turner is there at #6 in most drafts ... this way you get the guy you want for a lower price and get a higher 2ndR pick in return and still have a high 3rdR pick
The 49ers are a much better team now than they were in any of those years. They won't be playing from behind quite as often and they will be running the ball more just b/c they are improved and will likely have the lead in more games. That seems like a safe assumption to me barring some injury...
You will never get a 8-team article since the demand doesn't warrant it. I agree with Jayrod's suggestion with the lone exception being possibly in the 5th/6th round if there is still a top 6 QB there.
If a non-RB is taken in the first 6 picks, you are pretty much guaranteed to see either Gore or Turner in a non-PPR league.I should add that Turner has better odds of being there at #7 than Gore does.
I think it's closer than people think and I don't own either of these players on any team at this point. If MacGahee gets traded then Rice seems like the wise choice. I think the TD vulture factor could sway some people to Gore, though.
