I'm in two leagues, and my starters included:
Rivers
VJax
Torain
Graham
Beanie
Mendy
Hightower (not starting this week)
JESUS I hate fantasy football sometimes.
Two solid games in a row. OLine has looked not terrible for a couple of weeks, and Forte can take some pressure off of him. Yahoo has him ranked as the 11th best QB play next week. Only owned in ~60% of Yahoo leagues.
We should try to focus the discussion here, and center on the fantasy implications of this. As far as I can tell, we get:
(1) boost in Lloyds value (below preseason with Orton, but higher than with Tebow
(2) slight boost in value for Gibson or Alexander, whoever plays opposite Lloyd
(3) MSW...
Trying to decide between Alexander and Kevin Walter due to bye week issues. Anyone know how GB has been giving up their passing yards? Was it on underneath stuff, or to tall deep threats like Alexander?
Homers, what kind of production would you expect out of Eric Decker, with Lloyd out of town and Tebow at the helm? Haven't had the opportunity to watch any games this year. What do you view as his floor/ceiling?
Thanks.
Homers, is Tebow prone to throw a lot of picks? Don't know anything about him, but trying to gauge his value in a league where INTs are severely penalized.
Yeah, the Cutler and Felix trade isn't terrible, given that AJ could be out for three weeks, hammys linger, etc. I'd let that go through. The other one has to be vetoed.
I don't see the problem with a 3 week lag either, as both owners will only go through that trade if they think that it will make their team better. Maybe four weeks of Calvin Johnson is worth 10 weeks of Beanie Wells. If the value of the trade is off, then you veto it Ike any other trade. But if...
Rotoworld just put up a report saying Hillis might request a trade, given that his contract negotiations are going poorly. Seems unlikely that CLE would part with one of their few offensive weapons. Any homers who could weigh in on the credibility of this report?
