and from the look of it, Njoku is getting his regular workload in terms of snap count. his role is unchanged. But Fannin is being moved around the formation like a chess piece. This might be the most interesting and dynamic TE in some time. sometimes he lines up as a WR or in the slot...
I was pretty sure they brought Chubb in specifically to have a role. with mixon out you kind of have to give him the first shot to prove he can still start. thats a respect thing. if he proves he cant cut it one of the other options becomes realistic.
Pierce is a guy whose skillset I liked...
I managed to get him in a couple leagues. Really love his skillset as a TE. but given the way the Pack spreads the ball around I didnt think he had the level of upside that I wanted to see. but one Reed injury comes and it is suddenly looking like hes the #1 option. granted its a sample...
different skillset. if golden surpasses his production I dont know that he will dig into his targets. at least.... not till reed returns. His skillset will cut into both of theirs at least to some degree.
Detroit and Washington are two pretty decent teams with decent defenses. there will be easier matchups ahead. but given how potent the offense is, he will likely be a TD beast this year one way or another.
that provides a real nice floor.
well in light of the injuries. hes a candidate for pickup if hes available on your wire.
he wont be in deeper leagues, but in leagues with a shorter bench I think he will be around.
agreed. they key is to keep your head up and look for those opportunities to make your team better.
if you sulk and stop paying attention that opportunity will pass you by.
if there is ever a good time to have injuries.... this is the time. when players can still be picked up on waivers...
we all have years like this. but sometimes it creates opportunity. there have been times where I have dropped (or placed on IR) the injured guy and got the best waiver wire guy I could find and if it pans out you are good. sometimes even better than before.
I acknowledge its not...
yeah a short week is more talent vs talent rather than game plan vs game plan.
dont get me wrong, there is game planning, but you dont have the time to do nearly as much of it on a short week. so that favors the team with more talent.
as a general rule, with less prep time that favors the...
the other problem with RG3 is he kept getting hurt.
RG3 was also a runner who could throw.
Jayden is a thrower who can run and his decision making is top notch. RG3 never had that. and at the QB position the decision making is what makes a good QB great. He has it. and I think...
in a league that deep it likely makes sense to cuff a TE if you can find a credible pass catcher. Especially if your starter seems to be injury prone (ie. Kittle)
I suppose it depends who you talk to.
the real problem is this team has never been able to fully rebuild the O line. Andrew Thomas, the supposed Anchor is out with a Lis Franc injury. I dont care what anybody says, a Lis Franc injury is pretty serious. Especially if it is serious enough...
