I like Jones from when he was a Buc. I dislike Benson from when he was a Wronghorn, er, Longhorn. :D Actually, the funny thing is, if you look at the entire thread, I don't think things started quite as polarized as they ended up. People seemed to like Jones and dislike Benson (or vice...
He says that Jones played last year while Ced was hurt. Jones had a minor hurt this year, and is already back while Ced is, once again, hurt. Thus, Jones has proven to be the healthier of the two. :D
I don't get why everyone thinks he's so great. I watched him fall flat on his face everytime he played OU (one of the few real defenses he went against in college), and think he'll be good, but not great. No way he could have pulled off what Jones did two years ago. He's not that gifted.
Ron Dayne ran over alot of folks in college. Enough to actually WIN the Heisman. Its harder to do in the NFL. Besides, very few backs have EVER made a career of running over people. The great ones have speed and quickness and run by people. Jones is faster and a touch quicker, IMO. I said...
Fair enough. :) I was using the posting though to illustrate his sour attitude, and why he may have lost the locker room.BTW, Jones had the same thing back in AZ, but three teams later, seems to have humbled himself. There is hope for Ced, but he's gotta ... :wall: you get the...
For those of you uninformed, he was asked and answered like you said.
The part you left out (or weren't aware of) is where he clarified by saying, (paraphrase) "I can't win the Heisman if we don't beat OU, and I know that. If I don't play like a Heisman candidate against OU, we won't beat...
This quote SCREAMS "Me first, screw the team!". Ced's history is summed up with that quote. Publishing the entire interview and giving a lengthy report to appease people strikes me as tedious, so I gave the telling quote. I was unaware that cutting to the heart of the matter was "ignorant."...
This attitude is nothing new. It dates back to college (and probably before):From a Longhorn blog (found at www.fanblogs.com/big12/003535.php):
Texas Heisman hopeful RB Cedric Benson made no bones about it last night to ESPN's GameNight radio program - he would rather win the Heisman than beat...
I think this is the BEST solution in this bunch. Not quite fair to you, but it sets you up with leverage for the future, keeps you on everyone's good side, and makes the Commish feel like he owes you.Good suggestion.Ish
On the download page they list the differences between the versions. There are some software changes, some bug fixes, and some nice things fixed (like memo's field being expanded). I'd download the new one, but you don't need too.
Ish
OK, I just saw the Philly/Browns game, and Jaws was hyping (dare I say gushing about) :D this undrafted rookie who he makes out to be the answer to Philly's WR questions. The guy looked GOOD on the opening series. Is it because A) luck, B) he's under the radar right now, C) he really is...
