I'm not saying that lying is equal to what he did but why should they be encouraged to lie? If there are legitimate claims, then by all means get what you deserve but to lie because you don't think the legal system will punish him enough doesn't seem right. At least to me.
Let me get this straight, Rashee is the bad guy and gets vilified for fleeing the scene but it's okay for everyone to falsify claims because he's an NFL player?
I think there's lots of moving parts to this. It's easy and fun to speculate but until the legal end of things is finalized we don't really know what will happen. It's a pretty serious situation though and I hope all of the injured parties come through okay.
I just acquired Rashee in a 14 team PPR for a 2025 1st. Should be relatively late but I thought a good time to take a shot at a young WR in a good offense who showed up well. There is risk of course but fairly inexpensive way to acquire such an asset.
At this point, he's smart to lawyer up and say nothing. It doesn't look good for him and he can only hurt himself by saying anything without legal advice.
Exactly, or use the franchise tag. Sure it's a pretty big number but it's one year. Sure, the player might not like it but he doesn't have a lot of choice. Seemed to work for Cousins.
What I like about this and other deals that are fair is getting the 1st is an easier asset to use down the road. Whether in season or after, you can use the pick to replace, shore up or upgrade if needed.
