Weather: which games are you concerned about? Locals chime in!

Interesting points, though aren't RB directions pretty dynamic? Make a cut and end up with brukken ankles? I feel like maybe Blount and Mike Williams TB take value hits, though per your point above maybe Williams isn't a bad play.

Expectations for Maurice Morris this week?

I know its crazy talk, but I was burned sitting MoMo last week. With a bunch of players facing weather issues and field conditions, Morris in a dome isn't that horrible a flex play for 0.5/1 PPR. Starting over Dez (GTD) and either Mike Williams TB (field) or TO (wind & cold) depending who...

Weather: which games are you concerned about? Locals chime in!

This is a pretty big deal, surprised there hasn't been more talk of this. I'm just dumb...so, what happens when the footing on a football field is super terrible, the pass game goes away? the run game goes away? Judging by the above comment we need to downgrade passing games, at least the ones...

    Game Thread W3 - Washington V St.Louis

Haven't watched many Skins games in the past 3 years eh? He is old and sucks. But if you need half a yard, he's your man!

Waiver Wire Defenses - Week 11

My very competitive league with a short bench where you can't carry two defenses.... apparently someone dropped for the bye week then folks avoided pickups for the Ravens game (lot of Ravens fans in the league) then Steelers. And of course, they were quite obviously the #1 waiver target even over...

    Why Sims-Walker was inactive

Posted this is the MSW thread, but what the heck does this mean?RW quotes it like they get it: "Hope she was worth it. Speaking to the Florida Times Union, a source described the situation as "undefeated and untied.""

Fla Times Union Reports MSW was suspended.

Okay, I'm not a prude. What is that supposed to mean???

Game Thread Week 4 - Dallas V Denver

Haha, seriously? I understand the irrational sentiments in play with our teams, but the whistle blew which caused most Broncos players to stop in their tracks! He could have easily been tackled on the 5 if Denver kept going.... I think it was a GREAT break for Dallas! Crazy cowboys people...

Game Thread Week 4 - Cincinnati V Cleveland

Could they actually review this and call the game a tie?? The refs looked to each other for the call, seemingly like that had no idea if the FG was good or not.

    blind-bid free-agent auctions/waivers

Blind Bidding, if your owners are into it, is by far the most optimal solution. But if you're stuck with Yahoo for whatever reason, like me, Waivers can be done without Last to First, which is just putrid. In the case you're doing a draft, Rolling Waivers starts the year with reverse draft...

    Official NY Jets WR Thread

So assuming they are healthy, let's evaluate the "truthiness" of this statement from RW: "Jerricho Cotchery and Laveranues Coles have played well against New England in the pass. They are both capable of catching short passes and taking them long distances, a strategy that should work in any...

    Better record

:fishing: 99 yards > 90 yards and should be rewarded as such. Even worse, if you are 20 yards per point league, 99 and 80 yards would both give you 4 points! Ridiculous. I despise whole point leagues.

Should Non-Playoff Teams be allowed Waivers?

Exactly. There is no debate about this-- you can't have it both ways. Forcing teams to compete for something (draft slots) then crippling their ability to add/drop is inexcusable.

A way to honor the memory of Sean Taylor

Don't even get me started on Roy Williams, who can be just plain awful, but Bigby and Adrian Wilson (not finishing the year though) are pretty deserving. I don't think you watched too many Redskins games if you dont think Taylor belongs on that list, if not at the top. Clearly showing growth...

A way to honor the memory of Sean Taylor

...and if you weren't going to vote for him BEFORE this happened... then you were a biased fan of another team or just not paying attention. He was pretty much objectively among the 2 most deserving no matter how you slice it (he bobbled a few gimme interceptions, which would have been the...
