I think he's at least earned the camp competition. If he can be what Delhomme was 3 or 4 years ago, a serviceable QB who can keep a safety high so Fox can run 40 times a game and play good defense.
Neither QB will be successful without another WR. Delhomme was successful in the past because of...
I don't understand assertions like these. Is your drafting and in-season acumen so bad that one third round player has crippled your ability to succeed? Is anyone here saying that Kevin Smith or Pierre Thomas ruined your season? Did you do so little research as to overpay for a player who clearly...
One of Fox's downfalls is his blind loyalty to starters and/or veterans. Every year there's a position of need that gets filled with an underperforming veteran who Fox refuses to bench.
In 2006 it was Minter
In 2007 it was Foster
In 2009 it's Delhomme
I don't think he'll be fired unless Cowher is just begging for the job. Not really that many other options out there. Its a shame we waited until Jake was crippled to even try out the alternatives. Shockingly passes can be completed (and even attempted) to players other than Steve Smith.Edit: AJ...

Last year, NE had three backs who functioned as FBs (Evans, Jordan and Morris). This year Evans and Jordan are both gone.

I think this is just Ochocinco's unique way of donating money to charity. He can't just give it quietly, so he might as well be self-aggrandizing while being generous.
The big question was whether the starters would sit after IND had a comfortable lead. JAX offense hasn't exactly set the world on fire since their bye.IND never got that comfortable lead, so they starters played the whole game. My take was wrong, but I had the guts to say it before it was...
Looks like this didnt work out. But the Colts never had the lead that I expected them to have. You win some, you lose some. Maybe Fred Davis will go for two TDs :lmao:
