Does any site have the option of waivers in conjuction with a free agent pickup window? What I'm looking to do is make it waivers during the week, but on Sunday morning from 8am-10am (pacific time) a manager can pick up players without bidding/having to wait a day.
Reasons for this:
a) Casual...
1. JAX - 1 win, poor QB, and not really any great players
2. KC - they just have way more talent than Jacksonville
3. TEN - thought they'd be good coming into the season. Yeah, no. Can't play defense
4. CLE - Weeden not playing well again. They can hang with most teams though
5. BUF - awful...
1-5 with the 3rd most points. The standings are a massive cluster though - 1st place is 4-2 and there's a whole lot of 3-3. I figure 7-6 makes it so I'm just staying patient until I lose again.
Can't hurt to roster Powell or LSH and wait and see. My vote is for Powell; although I think LSH could do damage in the right situation, he clearly doesn't have the trust of the coaches, and with the way their line is, a more powerful back will fit better.
I was tired of waiting for him to come around on a 1-4 team. Traded Vick and Hartline for Stafford. I can see his passing getting better, but the rushing just isn't there, which is what I drafted him for. I'll cash in while I still can.
Totally agree with this. He makes bad decisions sometimes, but his job is safe, he looked good at times last year, he gets rushing yards, and he can easily build up yardage throwing underneath to harvin. I'm really thinking about picking him up in my 12 teamer because he has way more upside than...
One for each position in a standard lineup:
QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick outscores Phillip Rivers
RB: Pierre Thomas is the most productive Saints RB
RB: Frank Gore finishes outside the top 30 RBs
WR: Percy Harvin gets more rushing + receiving yards than any other receiver
WR: Braylon Edwards gets...
Well I was including DEF in the 2/3, as they are mostly an afterthought as well. And there is no way to project who is a top running back either. You're PROJECTING (guessing) carries, touchdowns, yards per carry...just like for a kicker you would be projecting attempts, accuracy, and extra...
You know it's not good trolling when you have half the posts in the topic rightAnd I don't get why people get ridiculed for trying to project kickers with the argument "there's no way to project them". It's guessing, just like everyone's done on all the WRs, QBs, RBs, and TEs. Why not just try...
I don't like their corners at all, Palmer hasn't sold me, receiving corps doesn't have a reliable guy, they never seem to win when it matters, they take too many penalties, and oh, what a surprise, they have a new coach again. I think the chiefs will take the division, but I'd take Denver or San...
This actually worries me a bit about Stewart, because I can see him losing the 3rd down job to Tolbert. Also a good receiver and can block better. The whole Panthers backfield is just such a mess with 4 different rushing threats.
