In our league we give $50 to the winner, and the 19th pick. And the runner up gets the 26th pick. We also found that $50 wasn't much of an incentive even though the Toilet Bowl doesn't effect draft position in our league.
I feel like if you drafted him in dynasty you knew you'd have to be patient. Personally, I was hoping they'd sit him the entire year to get his knee 120% before he took the field. The gambling suspension sucked, but he's about where I thought he'd be when I took him last year. Way, way too early...
Since you've got Waller and Freiermuth I'd probably make the move. I had high hopes for Johnson coming into the season, but he'll be 28 next year. Feel like this was his breakout year if he was gonna have one.
For my team I decided to blow the whole thing up and rebuild last year so I have, no...
I'm thinking of cutting Juwan Johnson and rolling with either Calvin Austin or Will Levis in a 12 team 22 roster league, but not sure if it's too early to give up on Juwan.
Yeah, I probably wouldn't move him for less than two future 2nds rn. I just figure if a rookie draft was held rn he'd go in the 2nd, so why move him unless you don't think much of him. I wouldn't give a first or expect someone else to trade me a first though either.
Tried to move him and two projected high 2nd 2024s for a projected top 6 in 2024 in dynasty, and was turned down, but they did contemplate for a long time, wasn't an automatic no. Hoping for one more big game, and then want to move him to get to a high first.
I had a similar one around that time from a guy who didn't pay much attention. He drafted Ricky Williams (the Colts knockoff version, not the real one) and proclaimed, "I was surprised he was still available." lol
all good, was trying to make a dry joke, guess I should've added and lol at the end 😂 fantasy football wise I think we've tried every angle to make kickers worth something, anything even if it's a fourth rounder, and nothing seems to work. The position is just too random.
Back to Tucker, I...
It's an effort to increase the value of kickers since they're such an afterthought. The idea being, if 24 kickers are already taken only the worst will remain, and it will increase their value until maybe they actually become an asset. Don't think it's really worked, still haven't seen a kicker...
Snagged him the 4th in my draft yesterday, but doubt anyone would've taken him if I didn't. 12 teams, 23 roster size with a requirement of two spots being kickers
This guy seems like a huge value right now. Seems like you can get him for nothing, he has a clear path to a starting role, and 2nd round draft capital.
