Posted in the Washington thread, but McLaurin is going to be 30 this season. It might make more sense to let him walk and go after Jameson Williams for less money, than to pay McLaurin $30M for his 31-34 year old seasons. A guy like Williams could spend the next 7-8 years with Daniels.
He's also turning 30. How many more years do you think he has? There aren't many WRs in their 30s who hit 1000 yards receiving. Letting McLaurin walk and spending the money on a guy like Jameson Williams might be the better move long-term at the position.
The Steelers OLine is equally as terrible as the Jets, they're right next to the Jets in terms of rankings.
Maybe Rodgers saving grace is that Arthur Smith will have a run dominant offense. The receiving weapons PIT has aren't as good as Rodgers had in New York so it makes sense to hand the...
I had Liberty Mutual for $2000 a year. In January they tried to raise it to $4000 a year. I went to an independent agent and he got me Safeco for $2000. Turns out Safeco is a subsidiary of Liberty Mutual. Make it make sense.
Not even the sacks, yes, he's a statue and he's probably looking at another 40+ sack season but it's more than that. Comparing Russell Wilson's stats with Pittsburgh and Rodgers stats with the Jets, they are nearly identical. I don't think the weapons Wilson was working with were better than...
Did you people even watch him play in New York last season? He's now going to a team with just as mediocre an offense line, worse skill position players.
Understood, I operate under the same philosophy. However, its really team dependent. The Eagles, for example, Tristan Wirfs doesn't really do much for them since they already have/had bookend tackles.
Just curious, so if we time traveled you back to the 2020 draft and you got the 5th pick, which QB are you taking?
Here's who was still available: Tua Tagovailoa, Justin Herbert, Jordan Love, Jalen Hurts, Jacob Eason, James Morgan, Jake Fromm, Jake Luton, Cole McDonald, Ben DiNucci, Tommy...
He had labrum surgery in March. It usually takes 3-6 months to recover. He's only 3 months post-op. Depending on how many anchors he needed to secure the labrum, it could take longer than the 5 months he's shooting for. My guess is, he might do a Cooper DeJean and miss the first month of the...
Well if you're trying to compare Eli to Hurts. Hurts already has a 2nd team All-Pro selection on his resume. Something Eli never accomplished. So at least, for one season, Hurts was considered one of the top 2 players at his position.
