If the swelling subsides and goes down, most likely it is a minor strain/tear. Moderate tear will swell more as time passes. Severe would be not being able to walk, hear popping sounds, stuff like that. If he needs an arthroscopy, that is trouble. That means the doc wants to view more of the...

He went out the next play and jogged out during the current drive. Looks ok.

Watched him play at Purdue. Mooooooooooose! Was a good guy back then too.
