Caitlin Clark’s rookie salary is $76,000

The WNBA season runs May-September, and it's because most of the players play overseas for more money in the traditional basketball months. They won't have freedom with their scheduling until they can offer enough to get the stars to stay home year-round, which will take more than 76K. On the...

2023-24 NBA (Playoffs!) Thread: Jontay Porter cashes in on sweet ‘Raptors under/will an nba player receive a lifetime ban’ parlay

I thought Matt Millen's status as worst GM in Detroit sports history was untouchable, but I guess they're gonna let Weaver make a run at it.

Serious Biz Dynasty Year 17 - Plenty of talent on the come

I think this Caballero guy might just be Wander Franco with a beard and a fake passport. Whatever, I'll take it.

***Official - 2024 Major League Baseball Thread - It's a Holliday In Baltimodia, Where People Dress in Orange***

I happened to be in Charlotte so I checked the Tide out Saturday. They won 13-1. They're fun to watch, although between Holliday getting called up and not getting to play the White Sox AAA affiliate forever, they'll probably cool off a little bit soon.

NCAA Basketball Thread - 2022-3 Season

If it was at the other end and it's Clark coming off the screen for the game-winner down 1, anyone think they call that?

NCAA Basketball Thread - 2022-3 Season

Yeah, SC's got a huge size advantage over either team, shoots 40% from 3, and has an endless supply of athletic defenders to throw at Clark/Bueckers. This game is fun but I think they're playing for 2nd.

Who just so happen to be the Tigers’ first 3 opponents. It’s like 1968, when nobody could score and the Tigers won all the time. Unfortunately they get transported back to the present in about a week.

At least they pulled him early and saved you some damage. Phillies let Nola keep getting drilled.

Serious Biz Dynasty Year 17 - Plenty of talent on the come

Mad dashes to the wire for mediocre closer candidates on bad teams felt a lot more wild west than this. Now I just get RP I actually like.

2024 Detroit Lions: Getting ready for the draft in Motown.

It's not just who the better player is. It's Davis for 1/14 or Sneed for 4/76. I don't love giving up a 3rd for a 1-year rental of Davis, but a long-term deal for Sneed could mean no long-term deal for one of Goff, Sewell, or St. Brown.

Help! Continued Help w Dynasty Baseball Team 2.0

Impressive collection of youngsters. Something to consider is that dynasty rankings generally assume you get to keep everyone forever. With 15 keepers, age matters less, especially as you move further down the list. I wouldn't be in any rush to get rid of Altuve, Wheeler or Castillo, and I'm...

Serious Biz Dynasty Year 17 - Plenty of talent on the come

Projected standings from Fantrax (These are just based on current active lineups) I doubt the actual standings will be that close but it would be a lot of fun. Should be tighter at the top than the last couple years at least.
