So, Am I Heartless if I Do Not Root For NO in Miami?

You're over-reacting. I'm a Saints fan, but I wouldn't expect many AFC teams to jump on any NFC bandwagon. Being from New Orleans, I can't help rooting for Manning, but at the same time I couldn't help rooting for Minnesota if they had won. Football is a game of respect, and you respect the...

    Who's Picking 9th This Year?

Picking from the 9th spot, "money in the bank" is upside. I'll take consistency here and win the league in later rounds.

We New Orleanians don't drink water. We get our moisture through our feet, which keeps the soil dry. Of course, we don't wear shoes to facilitate the moisture intake.

I've seen reports that the Causeway is damaged and that the twin spans to Slidell are badly damaged or gone completely. Can anyone verify this? That means there is only one way into the city now.

Thanks for the info. I saw on nola.com that Napoleon Ave. had extensive wind damage, but I'm not sure what that means. My house is two blocks away on Constance St. It sure would be nice to know if I have a roof.
