They could be planning to start Ohtani with Glasnow as first reliever if game situation drives them to pull Ohtani before late innings. Then go to the rest of the bullpen. Ohtani gets to pitch and play DH all game, but they also get Glasnow if needed.

I don’t know that I would agree that he is the most talented baseball player ever. What makes him more talented than Willie Mays, for example? I know Mays did not pitch but he was great at everything else in baseball. And he showed that talent for a long, long time.

Agree Vidal will maintain a role once Hampton returns. He has rushed well and had some good moments in pass blocking. I still think Hampton is better at everything, though. I expect he will be eased back in but eventually will dominate touches again.

FWIW the Chargers are 3-0 in games this season when LT Alt and RT Pipkins played the entire game (games 1-3, during which they beat KC, DEN, and LV). They also get Edge Mack back fully (hopefully)... he only played 12 snaps last week. These are big deals for the Chargers. Not saying that means...
