Whether or not it was Gilligan‘s intent, the show so far is a blistering commentary on the rise of AI. The real time pro-and-conning of “us” giving Carol a nuke cemented it for me.
The biggest difference in NBC’s coverage (so far) is that they present it like the game they are showing really MATTERS. Which sounds silly to say unless you have been subjected to ESPN (or even TNT) for years and realized that it didn’t always to them.
Came up 1.8 points short - the Nico injury did me in.
That plus JSN came up 6 yards short in my main league where my opponent and I had the two highest scores of the week by far, and I stayed up until 1:30 for all of it. Yay
About 4 points over the cutline, but I should get most of Egbuka (-1.8) and Nico’s (-4.9) points tonight. Also have the Chubb/Marks combo that could bump things up.
Hopefully enough to stave off the Turk for another week :oldunsure:
Think I might be in trouble.
116.55 with only Jayden Daniels (-27.55), Bill (-4.1) and Cairo Santos (-3.7) left. :oldunsure:
This was my biggest bye week and injuries and underperformance from many players didn’t help.
Note to the contest organizers: can we PLEASE, FINALLY, add 2 point...
Switched out Ollie Gordon and Braelon Allen for Blake Corum and Kyle Monangai.
Likely just re-arranging deck chairs and could definitely be wrong but I feel like the path to relevancy (obviously outside of injury) is tougher for the first two than the last two. Achane and healthy Breece Hall...
Thank goodness for the Kraft/Warren/Fannin TE build or I’d be out of this thing already.
Also $2 Ayomanor in the running to be the steal of the contest
I’m not worried about AJ Brown.
I would be in full-fledged five alarm panic mode though about Kevin Patullo. OMG these offensive game plans are horrific.
Schefter:
The Jacksonville Jaguars are planning for Travis Hunter to be an "every-down wide receiver and situational corner" in Sunday's regular-season opener against the Carolina Panthers, league sources told ESPN.
