This is where I landed. I don't think you risk a knee injury on a "decoy". Carroll may be playing games with his comments, but I don't think he will risk Bowers unless it's to go full tilt. If he is not fit, I think he will be inactive, and I will slot Mayer in if that happens.

I think they make the same call. Had a similar call last year, when Norris undercut Piastri, and Norris had to give the place up. I don't think McLaren want a team error to cost either driver a championship - and a slow pit stop is a team error, not a driver error.

Great race from Verstappen and the Ferraris, particularly Hamilton. I thought McLaren made the right call in swapping positions in the end - don't need the championship between teammates decided by a slow pit stop.
