How many Receivers have been great at the age of 35 or older? Marvin Harrison made me think of this because I think he is about to hit the wall, but I was curious how many before him performed well at his elderly age.
I was looking at rankings in for last year in my league. He finished as the #7 QB even though he missed half the year. He was an animal until he got hurt.
I would love to own him, but I just need to be more aggressive on drafting a backup for him.
I think that is a good one, but I still give the edge to Manning. Manning has had TE's and Wayne & Harrison are better than CJ & TJ. I'd also give Manning an edge on O-Line (until this year with Glenn's retirement).
The past few years, our points were based on a bracket system (i.e. 3 points for 50 to 74 yards, 6 points for 75 to 99 yards, etc.). This year, we agreed to change it to a more linear point system (i.e. 1 point for every 10 rush/receiving yards).
We always combined rushing and receiving. What...
Never really had an opinion of the Colts before. They always stunk, except that one year with Harbaugh. I started to dislike the Colts after Manning had been there a while. I just got sick how people knob on him, yet no one seems to notice that he has the most stacked offense in the NFL...
I'm surprised some many people would take TJ. Amazing.
To me it isn't even close, Randy Moss. He is the #1 option on his team and he is finally playing for a real team.
I have heard a couple of people on ESPN and other broadcasts predict the Colts to go to the Super Bowl. Honestly, how can anyone pick them anymore? The got weaker by losing James, Triplett and Thornton. Rhodes and Addai have looked like crap so far. Harrison is getting older and Manning will...
I wouldn't mind having a QB/WR combo. They don't steal production from each other. I worry more about RB's and WR's competing for the same points where only one or the other can have the points.
He was worth a 2nd rounder when he was drafted with no experience. Why would he only still be only worth a 2nd rounder now that he has experience and has had an opportunity to develop?
He is worth more than a 2nd rounder, the Jets will NOT get him.
