Even assuming that he will be great at kicking, no. Not a 2nd round pick. A kicker is too reliant on the offense for me to invest heavily (I consider a second round rookie pick a heavy investment) in one. I could see maybe a 5th if he goes to a really good, young offense. No earlier. Not for me...

Well. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Jackson won't be returning anything for the Patriots this year. The blurb above lists CJ Jones as a "Kick Returner" though. Has he won that job and Hobbs is no longer a kick returner?

The box scores list one CJ Jones, WR as the returner in question.

There's no doubt that each has great chemistry. If one didn't I don't think we would be having this conversation.

Where does that information come from? Hobbs was returning kicks in the preseason and is still listed on their depth chart as the primary kick returner. Jackson did not return a single kickoff in the preseason. They are handing him the job without letting him try even once in the preseason...
