Good to see Shanahan got an extra "n" thrown in his contract.
Considering the luck I've had picking up scrub RBs this season, I looked, but the guy leading my league has Davis stashed. *******.
I have the same situation (plus S. Hill just for giggles) and I'm starting Bruce. Great match-up and the team just seems to be rallying behind him. Plus, who knows if they'll even try a FG after SeBass apparently roofied himself last week.
After going to the final cut last season, I have crashed and burned already this year. When Forte puts up 6.3 and is your second-best scoring back, you deserve to go home.
I don't disagree with any of the people justifying the move. I just wonder about a coach saying a guy is a starter and the general mouthing of "a guy doesn't lose his job to injury," then pulling the rug out from underneath him later in the week. Michael Irvin said this morning he felt the team...
Don't get me wrong -- I totally understand why Reid's making this decision. Vick's played well and with the offensive line deficiencies the Eagles have, a mobile quarterback probably gives the team a better chance to win.
But in my head, I see this scenario:
Andy Reid is eating a cheesesteak...
I was thinking the same thing. I have been a big Grad fan since college, but it looked to me like the Raiders had decided to give Campbell the reins. Six quarters is not enough time to lose that job.
This. I drafted Best in my dynasty because I think this guy has the ability to break a run or two a game, but that initial game, he wasn't given the opportunity by his own offense. If they open it up a bit, he'll score big points.
