Jahvid Best-RB- Lions Oct. 10 - 11:45 am et
Jahvid Best (turf toe) is active for Sunday's game against the Rams.
The Lions are going with only Kevin Smith behind Best, so they clearly have plenty of confidence in that toe. Use Best as a borderline RB1 against the Rams' leaky front seven.
I'd say low end RB1 for sure. The kid just keeps making the most of his opportunities. I'd also say he may surprise in dynasty as well. Hardesty can't seem to stay on the field and Hillis is a chain mover, can catch out of the backfield and punch it in at the line.
With Leon looking fully healed from the broken leg, looking fast and explosive in the return game, whats been keeping him from contributing to the run game?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say Jordan Shipley. With Ocho and TO commanding attention on the outside, there should be plenty of room for him to navigate underneath. This kid runs polished routes and is a very solid pass catcher.
This is really his first healthy point in the NFL....In ATL he wasn't healthy enough to push for playing time. My .02 is that I think is is going to surprise some people this year. FWIW
