    Week 15 Questions For Bloom

PPR flex pick 2:  Foster, Godwin, Golladay, Tate, Riddick. I'm a slight underdog. Thx.

    Minnesota Vikings Team Thread

Noticed something interesting looking at these trades on the NFL Trade Value Charts posted online in many places. Specifically, those charts clearly do not align with how teams are actually valuing picks. To wit, here are the three main transactions by the Vikings and their supposed trade value...

    Week 14 Questions for Bloom

Hey Sig- I'm the favorite in my matchup this week and therefore want to put in a "safe" player in my final flex spot. Which of the following players do you think has the highest floor in PPR? L. Miller / D. Lewis / D. Adams / C. Brate Thanks!

    Week 8 Questions for Bloom

Hi Sig- Question regarding late season TE upside in PPR. My regular starter has been Pitta, who I would characterize as high floor, low ceiling. I would like to also have some higher ceiling TEs for the late season stretch. Three options available to me are Brate, Ertz and Fiedorowicz.  How...

This year's #1 pick and he'll remain there for 3+ years

This is a nice way to break out likely production. In the 5 weeks CJ was out and Ellington was (mostly) injured (weeks 13-17), David Johnson scored 113 of the team's 147 RB points (~77%). That percentage is very likely to go down, but how much is guesswork beyond my pay grade. But it is rather...

    DFS Scandals in E.F.F.E.C.T

The only real question is whether "FanDuel Steve'd" is going to become part of the lexicon.

Don't sleep on Donte Moncrief: Draft Day steal

Moncrief was much more involved than Dorsett with Hilton in, but I'm not sure I would say he was "Luck's favorite receiver" after Hilton went out. It is admittedly a small sample size, but here are the target totals (and line) for the Colts WR/TEs in the 4th quarter after the Hilton injury...

    Logic of Gronk #1? Luck#1?

Unless we start by stipulating a specific league set-up and scoring system, this is one of those debates where folks talk by each other given how much VBD is influenced by set-up. I generally start by getting a rough approximation of opportunity cost based on ADP to assess how comfortable I am...

League member wants to drop Peterson.....moral issue!.. Commish ne

This was my thinking in my original proposal. It is hand-holding by the commish to maintain balance, but it is not a violation of the league's rules or process. Where I had trouble is what to do if none of the trades is acceptable (perhaps because the current owner of ADP has no interest in...

League member wants to drop Peterson.....moral issue!.. Commish ne

That is unprecedented in my leagues. Here is what I would do (but just my opinion): Announce the situation to the league. Put ADP on a league wide trading block. Allow the ADP owner to take the best trade offer in exchange for ADP. If no acceptable offers are made, I would then have a lottery.

Harvin to Bills/ Formerly the Harvin to Hawks & Jets

Harvin's YPR were also held down by the deflected pass he caught in the 3rd quarter. The intended target was off to the right (Baldwin IIRC), but the pass got deflected right to Harvin who caught it for a 1-yard gain 3-3-GB 3(11:10) (Shotgun) 3-R.Wilson pass short right to 11-P.Harvin to GB 2...

    Antsports

I had a group of friends who played on Antsports pretty consistently from 2001 through 2008. In 2009, we collectively bailed as the site continued to decline and payments got sketchier (as in they would eventually come, but we were all convinced Steve was going to take he money and run at some...

    WR Emmanuel Sanders (RETIRED)

Fair enough. FWIW, I also see him as middling player, albeit one in a very good situation. I tend to use ppg averages simply because I want to know how a player is likely to perform when healthy and then adjust for injury risk as opposed to developing a season-long projection that accounts for...

    WR Emmanuel Sanders (RETIRED)

Thanks Adam. That was exactly as I intended.

    WR Emmanuel Sanders (RETIRED)

The #4 Receiver (WR or TE) on the Broncos last year averaged 15.4 ppg, good for #20 across all WR/TEs in points per game (PPR scoring). If that number dropped by 20% next year, the #4 in the Den Offense would still be projected in the top 36 of all Wr/TEs (top 30 of just WRs). Is Sanders...
