Yeah, I think if people are drafting CMC, I don't really worry about handcuffing at this point, whereas that was probably a goal pre-trade, especially as I think very little of Jordan James.
Now, it could be a mess. I think Robinson gets the #2 job due to his prior experience, and that they...
100% this. I'd take the under on Ekeler seeing 125 touches, unless a lot of guys got hurt around him. I also don't think the Robinson trade affects him at all.
I get that, but it being Theilen feels like it'd be bad management. Thielen (and Dalton) are important vets to have around for Young and co.
Is it really that important to keep David Moore or Hunter Renfrow? Especially when the difference is likely a 6th round pick or something like that.
I think Guerendo is a little overrated based off a couple big plays. I didn't think he looked all that good last season.
I will agree that Robinson (or Guerendo) aren't as good as just keeping Jordan Mason would have been.
I think Robinson wins the #2 job, but I think CMC sees as much work...
I don't think Robinson affects CMC at all. There's a reason he went for a 6th round pick. I think he's fighting with Guerendo for the backup job. I'd probably bet on Robinson there.
I have a real hard time seeing why Carolina would trade him. Its not like they'd be getting a high pick for him, and he's been very important to the development of Bryce Young (and liekly would of Tet McMillan, and maybe even Xavier Legette too)
Jacksonville wins the AFC South, Trevor Lawrence is a top-10 QB, Brian Thomas and Travis Hunter are top-20 WRs, Liam Coen wins Coach of the Year, and the Browns look really dumb for trading out of the #2 pick.
Its sort of a balance of all that. If you are a risk taker, you are likely more confident in finding a suitable replacement while Rice is out.
If Rice was never going to be suspended at all, I'd probably have him up by Tee Higgins.
I agree he's missed lots of time, its probably not a pick for the squeamish. I will say, I don't think his 2023 was an outlier carry wise. I think its where he'll be as long as he's healthy. He got eased in a bit when they traded for him in 2022 (when they had a reasonably productive Elijah...
Love seeing the calls and some differing opinions.
I am gonna be really interested in your logic on Josh Jacobs as RB1, Keon Coleman>Amon-Ra St. Brown, and the low rankings of Jefferson/Hockenson (that I hope is based on a lot more than just McCarthy is unproven, because those guys were still...
5 guys in the top-50 I want no part of are:
Breece Hall-I think he's vastly overrated as a talent, and I think he's in a 3-man RBBC, where he is possibly losing 3rd downs, and certainly losing GL. He might as well not even be on my board at all, because I'm not looking at him until like round...
