From a fantasy perspective I'm not sure Nelson will have much of any value until the Bills do something to address their tackle positions. For years the Bills have failed to invest any talent there - they rely on street free agents/undrafted players or get some washed up free agent like Cornell...
Exactly my point - 200K people evacuated and they are going to come back. In light of how poorly managing this has gone in the past, don't you think the #1 public safety priority would be getting people back safely and orderly? It would certainly be hard to divert resources to directing traffic...
In my mind its less a matter of actual damage (although it IS a hurricane and could certainly cause some good damage), it's more about public resources and priorities.Simply put, mopping up after a storm and getting thousands of people back home from where they went is and should be a priority...
I haven't heard anything, but my gut tells me there's a good chance Houston won't be in any sort of shape to host an NFL game on Monday.Right now Galveston and Houston look like they are in the direct line of the storm - category 3. Thousands have evacuated the area. In a bad scenario the area...
I'm not convinced. The folks making these decisions seem to be overly optimistic at this point IMHO. It would not surprise me then that these same people wouldn't realize they had a problem until after the start of games on Sunday.
These are my thoughs as well. Eeven if there isn't a ton of damage or flooding out by the stadium, Houston still needs a good number of police and public safety people to be able to handle a large NFL crowd. Unless there's only minimal problems my guess is that these folks will have more...
It really depends on intent.
If the guy just forgot and left a player in on a bye he already got 0 points for that player - it's his own penalty.
If they guy continually forgets he's just a bad player and someone who shouldn't be back next year because he's just not into it enough when other...
I've got to say that the NFL did a poor job when it comes to the file and it can have very dangerous ramifications.
If you let that type of stuff go so easily, how long will it take for players to feel that if justice is to be had it'll have to happen on the field? Does someone now try and chop...
Same here - all 0-0 ties.
Not quite sure how you you could use the same data update routine on the system every week and end up with different results unless you tweaked the routine - but why would you do that? They must have the worst DBAs on the planet to make a change and not test it.
Man - getting 10+ guys together at the same time to do a draft is like herding cats, but then when you show up and the site gagged and died - that's just ugly :bag:
