I'd like to thank this thread as well. The insights here convinced me to watch the all-22 of his first active game and scoop him up in two dynasties and trade for him in another.
It seems like every season there's at least a couple players talked about here a week or two ahead of a breakout.
This seems like a case of over-thinking things. Julio is playing at a high level, and Shanahan will move him everywhere along formation to get favorable matchups. And it's hard to get proper value for a guy who can win you the championship in a redraft.
There's been enough changes in coaches...
I thought you lashed out poorly.
That said, I was in a similar situation in a dynasty league where I accepted a trade offer over text in the offseason but the other party backed out once it came time for the rookie draft. In our situation, there was no way to "finalize offer" using software...
I've been lurking these forums for a couple years now and I want to say there is a lot of good information on these boards. There is noise to sift through, but any non-private internet forum has that.
It's well worth searching the pool for various detailed analyses on players and teams backed...
Guess I should have clarified I harbor zero resentment against anyone other than Kyle Williams for that game. Also, Rivers, Rome, and Shaub are pretty good company.
Tony Romo, Jay Cutler, Philip Rivers, Ben Roethlisberger, Matt Ryan, Matt Shaub, 2012 Peyton Manning, and Matt Stafford. I believe Eli is in that group somewhere below the median. Rodgers, Brady, and Brees are just on another plane. When he's clicking he's about the 6th best QB in the league and...
He doesn't have to make every throw perfect, just not make so many bad decisions. Like forcing it into quadruple coverage. Would have been a very different game if the CB closed his hands on time for the first one.
Eli did not look that good. He made at least 4 throws that were in poor judgement and would have been picked off by competent CBs. Eli is good in spurts but he has questionable decision making ability when playing with a lead.
So you mean he goes back to his old role before the Britt injury.
Year Team G Rec Yds Y/G Avg 100+ TD
2009 TEN 16 47 569 35.6 12.1 0 6
2010 TEN 16 42 687 42.9 16.4 2 6
About those numbers?
So the consensus is that Washington should not be on the waiver wire in most leagues? Beyond week 1, as in after Britt is back, what kind role do you expect him to have?
I have him in a dynasty PPR, and it's hard to get more than a low end WR1 for him.
He is a beast and has low wear, but I don't see people reaching for him early next year even in redrafts. If you took him in the 4th or 5th this year and only have to give up a 3rd or less to keep him next, that...
