Ok, now that Josh has a team again, let's get this thread back on track.......week 3 = 175 yds and 2 TDs. Would be much higher but he'll need time to learn the playbook.
there was another probable big play that was stopped on a really bad (dangerous) face mask by the JAX defender. Barkley wipped around to the ground. Was very surprised he didn't get hurt. If that defender didn't reach out and grab him, that was likely to be another long gain.
they have downgraded the severity of impact for the game. Still won't be pretty but not looking like the end of the world many were saying previously. Let's see how things move over night.
starting with confidence. I won't list my other WR options because it doesn't matter. No way I'm missing out on the first 2 TD's of this 20 TD campaign.
ok fine, yeah, they almost for sure bring another "body" but best guess right now is that Morris is the guy to own and Breida is the backup and change of pace. It's not what they wanted but here we (they are).
10th round, lol that is just ludicrous and I'm not a Browns fan nor a Gordon dynasty owner.
As stated above, there will be many busts in the mid rounds. Take a chance on a guy who has legit WR#1 upside.
agree that it comes down to preference. For me it's Saquon. I don't think the Giants will suck this year. Too many weapons to defend everyone. His skill set is such that he will stay on the field and all the comments from coaches confirm he's in for a heavy, 3 down workload. Pass catching skills...
assuming OBJ is healthy, how concerned is everyone about the QB? I know all his weapons were hurt last year but are we just brushing aside the fact that Eli's yards/attempt have trended down each of the past 4 years?
Eli Manning has never been an elite QB and at age 37, it is possible (likely)...
I want to buy into Cam this year really bad but the O-line has me scared. Was already a bottom tier unit and now will be without their best linemen (RT Williams) for at least the 1st half of the season and maybe all of it.
I do think the busted pocket can result in some nice rushing attempts...
I'm loving Reed this year just because of the price. If (when) he misses games, you can backfill with a street TE. Alex Smith will do just fine targeting the TE and where else can you get top 2 at his position upside for the cost?
I'm in. If it doesn't work out, I haven't lost much IMO.
