Risky starts you're making in the first week of playoffs

V young over Roethlisberger. First half of that (sitting Ben) worked out Thursday night, even though on paper, matching up with Cleveland had promise. Now I gotta cross my fingers that V Young plays. Late game, no less.

    Caddyshack: The Inside Story

Can anyone confirm or deny whether the guy who played Noonan had ever played golf before? I have a buddy who swears he picked it up just for the movie. To me, the swing is too pure.

    Mad Men on AMC

Agree that this is why she told him she doesn't love him. She loved Don Draper, but **** Whitman? Too much of a blue-blood for that. That said, I see Henry Francis as an empty rebound guy. She toys with him, then dumps him next season. He doesn't move her. I'm not sold on the notion that she is...

    One Hundred Pushups

So did it work for anyone? I'd rather not read 800 posts to find out if anyone went from 20 to 100 pushups in six weeks.

    One Hundred Pushups

Anybody still doing this? Spreadsheet doesn't look like it has been updated in awhile.

    Mad Men on AMC

I'm still going with "she's a child", but the last two episodes are causing me to wonder.

    Mad Men on AMC

Kennedy getting shot will figure prominently. Sterling Cooper will be sold. Maybe the teacher pulls a Glen Close (Fatal Attraction) on Draper. Beyond that, I got nuthin. I've given up guessing where this show is going.

Phrases/terms that need to be retired immediately

Net-net. I'm too lazy to make sure it hasn't been mentioned, but it does need to go.

    The Shawshank Redemption

Ben Stein was outstanding in this movie. I didn't know he had such range.

    Mad Men on AMC

Underscored by his statement that if something happened to him, "your sister would never forgive herself". Speaking from experience there, I reckon.

    Mad Men on AMC

I remembered incorrectly. I had confused Duck's company with the folks who were courting Draper awhile back.

    Mad Men on AMC

I think Duck's new company is the most likely suitor. Won't that be fun?

    Mad Men on AMC

Her little girl / princess fantasy didn't include doing it on a desk behind a locked door. He doesn't know what she wants because she doesn't know what she wants... but she knows that wasn't it.

    Anyone Starting LT This Week?

Starting him over... well, over three backs on their bye week. Hand is sort of forced, here. I landed him at 2.1, and was happy to do so. Now? Just hoping for the best.
