IMO, the RB-RB-RB strategy is viable, as long as your league structure dictates it. And in any draft, you need to be flexible and be willing to deviate from it if there's a player available on the board when it's your pick that has great value. I'm in two leagues:
1) 2 RB, 2 WR, Flex, non-PPR...
I'm in three leagues, typical 9-man starting lineups. I've got:
KSmith/Megatron/Marshall/Cundiff
Stafford/Murray/Megatron/Crabtree/Finley/Cundiff
Murray/Gore
My family is going to HATE me tomorrow.
The Top 200 Going Forward (or whatever it's called) is much more useful for waivers than the weekly rankings. I'd be upset if that stopped coming out on Tuesdays. I could live without the weekly rankings coming out on Tuesdays, but at the same time, I still like them - some information is...
Clearly Eli. You can put Eli in a pack with Big Ben, Romo, and Rivers in that #7-#10 range. He's a perfect QB to have if you want Tebow as your #2 though.
I think his value depends on if you have another QB in your roster in the #7-#12 range. If you have someone like that (Rivers, Ryan, Schaub, whoever), I'd rather have Tebow on my roster than anybody on that list - nobody comes close to Tebow's upside, with the possible exception of Fitzpatrick...
Not for this week, but for lack of a better thread to put this in, check out New England's schedule down the stretch:
Week 13 - vs IND
Week 14 - at WAS
Week 15 - at DEN
Week 16 - vs MIA
What do the gurus think of them as an add for the fantasy playoff run before somebody else scoops them...
Add a rule that fines an owner $5 or so each time he starts a player on bye, or that is listed as "out" on the injury report.
Maybe it'll get the deadbeat owners to try a little harder (which is the ultimate goal of a rule like that - nobody likes it when teams vying for a playoff spot near the...
I can certainly understand why the numbers look the way they do - there is obviously a big range of results each player can have, and FBG is simply providing the average performance they think each player will have. But to add on your your suggestions, another route they could go would be to...
I don't see any issue with chopping it, but that's totally reasonable too if it rubs you the wrong way for whatever reason. Just let them know that's your plan now.
It's the owners' collective money; they can do whatever they want with it imo.
I personally wouldn't chop as long as I thought my team was better than my opponent's that week - I don't mind the variance.
Have you thought about how you would work the schedule week-to-week with an odd number of teams?
"Only reason I bring this up... in a league I am in this year.. the owner has managed his team.. he has more points than over 50% of the league, but by luck of the draw... he has faced opponents...
