Jacoby Ford makes for interesting play this week. He practiced all week on special teams, so he'll definitely be returning kickoffs. And in what figures to be a shootout, he could (a) rack up quite a few return yards and (b) see significant work as a WR. All depends on whether they plan to...
Yeah, I just read a quote from Haley that said McCluster will get "a couple" touches per game on special teams. So I'm not sure how much owners in return yardage leagues should invest in him. There was a potential for him to become the AFC's Darren Sproles, but I don't think that's going to...
1. Good call on Prater.2. Yeah, the problem is, no one's quite sure what Chester Taylor's role will be. I almost think they know if Wells goes down, they can't make 5'7" LSH the feature back. So maybe the roles aren't changing at all. LSH is the 3rd down passing back and will remain that way...
Will surprised if Ford gets anything at all. Prater's got a strong leg and that game's in Denver. Why so down on Holwing? Aren't Peterson and Roberts doing punts only?
Sproles to the house.
With the way he's being used on offense (we're looking at 60-ish receptions), plus the addition of kick returns, he may be a top 10 RB in return formats.
Considering he's the first start/sit decision people will have to make, can we confirm that Sproles is off kickoffs in favor of Roby? I can't find anything in the New Orleans papers and the Saints official depth chart hasn't been updated in forever.
Another guy who may take a huge hit is Amendola. Rams first depth chart suggests that Jerious Norwood will take over kick return duties (Amendola is still listed as the punt returner). Pro Football Weekly says the same:

Hopefully...
Thanks for this, Jojo. I'm starting to question Sproles involvement on the KR unit. The guy he was supposed to replace, Courtney Roby, not only made the Saints final roster but was then named a special teams captain. Are we going to see a Roby/Sproles split in New Orleans, I wonder?
