    TE Isaiah Likely, BAL

Athletic Article by Ravens beat writer Likely isn’t expected to be out for the season. In fact, there’s an outside chance he won’t even miss a regular-season game. An MRI taken revealed a small fracture in the tight end’s left foot. He’ll have surgery to stabilize the foot immediately, and the...

2025 Miami Dolphins - Minkah is coming back to South Florida

They should. The default reaction is that "well, if a team's defense isn't good, that means the offense will put up a ton of points". Sure, that's a good possibility if they have Burrow/Chase/Higgins/etc.... But I think it can work the other way, too - that the team's offense gets fewer...

Based on this thread (& a million other discussions), it's not just young people.

Footballguys Rankings - Viewable By Individual Rankers - Did you know?

It looks pretty straight-forward to me, Joe. And I am far from the most tech-savvy person in the world. I like this format better than the old matrix style where all of the rankers were listed across the top - IIRC, you couldn't mix and match rankers with that one.

    TE Isaiah Likely, BAL

That's an understatement, "He's had his back amputated. He's working hard in practice and in the weight room. He'll be questionable next week." Seriously, I hope this isn't bad. Baltimore has the best group of pass catchers they've ever had. They are all singular in what they bring and...

What are the best city markets in the US?

I haven't been in many years, but Lexington Market in Baltimore used to be really good.

Consensus Top 350 Albums of All-Time: 77. Funeral – Arcade Fire

I thought I might catch another vote for EWF's album, but I'm not surprised I didn't. I knew no one else would choose this Neville's record, but wanted to get some New Orleans on paper.

Consensus Top 350 Albums of All-Time: 77. Funeral – Arcade Fire

When I was making my list, I had Dusty's LP in mind. I have no excuse for leaving it off of the submitted list other than maybe I saw something shiny across the road and forgot.

Recently viewed movie thread - Rental Edition

Cena was fine in this. So was Elba. The film was just a little flighty and didn't seem to be able to make its mind up on what it wanted to be.

Recently viewed movie thread - Rental Edition

Watched two fairly recent films the last couple of of days. 1. Heads Of State. Idris Elba and John Cena as the UK's PM and the POTUS. I think they were going for satire here, but kept pulling back and wouldn't fully commit to it. As a straight action movie, it's fairly tame. It's fine for what...

    QB Jayden Daniels, WAS

No, I switched to Daniels/Jackson in my last two paragraphs. I just didn't preface it very well. Apologies. I should've done a separate post.

    QB Jayden Daniels, WAS

Yeah, that didn't help. I think he re-injured it against the Ravens when Ngata fell on him - or, maybe that was the initial injury. My memory is slipping and I'm too lazy to parse out the details  As for the Daniels/Jackson comparisons, Daniels is by far the better passer at a similar...

    QB Jayden Daniels, WAS

I think a lot of fans these days - especially Commanders followers - downplay just how good RGIII was in his rookie season. That guy was electric. Besides the unfortunate injury suffered late in the season, two things happened that turned RGIII from the biggest sports star in D.C. since Darrell...

    QB Jayden Daniels, WAS

Sure. And people were saying (some still are) that Lamar Jackson was going to get killed because he was too thin and ran too much. He learned how to protect himself. How many hard shots have you seen him take? His one "real" injury happened in the pocket. He also had COVID 29 times and - IMO -...
