Actually my biggest problem with the whole thing was that Master of Puppets came out in March of '86.  This took place in April of '86.  There is no way the guitar tab book was out yet for Eddie to learn that by sight so that was all by ear after a month at most!  And he nailed even the solo! ...

Yeah it was a lot like the Neverending Story interlude in Season 3.  In hindsight I liked both and they are memorable scenes, but in the moment they do kind of mess with the tension a bit.  At least with Master of Puppets it was overlayed with when Max was terrified trying to get away from Vecna...

SPOILER….  Yeah we’ve gotta (and I nearly guarantee going to) have a Max / Lucas emotional reunion scene.    The Duffers and Levy are really great at really creating those. Mike/El, Will/Joyce,  Kids/Will, Hopper/Joyce, El/Hopper.  Definitely have to be cueing that up! 👍🏻

Civ is a game that honestly you can have two completely different goals on how to play.  Of course, its a game so you can be trying to win in the most dominating, gamey way possible.  Every so often I do that.  But to be honest, I play the game relaxed and just to almost enjoy the journey. ...

We finished Vol. 1 this morning.  Outstanding.  Just an incredible job story building and weaving everything.  Is there Emmy straight up for "Lore Building"?  I don't even want to begin hinting at a single thing spoiler adjacent.  We were just endlessly entertained and can't wait for July 1st. ...

Wow,  I would expect to be able to see them free separately at state and county fairs.  Crazy ETA: And this isn't an in-and-of-itself rip on aging artists still touring.  I saw Heart at a 4th of July community festival 10 or so years ago and they were awesome.  A really really good concert.
