All true. And I think we, as outsiders can look at it that way. Just not sure if the people (Reid, Rossman, Banner, etc) that are currently in place can look at it that way.

Was thinking this too - I don't think you can afford to wait until 2013 to think about a replacement plan. It needs to be addressed to some extent this off-season. Intrigued about the Josh Johnson possibilities...

I agree. While Plax won't open things up between the 20's like D Jax does, he very much an asset inside the redzone, something we have lacked. Also consider he did what he did last year coming out of prison playing with a disaster at QB. He had some really big games for NYJ last year.

Did Edwards even have a job last year? I think if he comes in it is to try out for #3; a chance to learn an offense under a 'good' QB coach and possibly save his career. The eagles can sign Edwards, still draft someone and use camp to determine who #3 actually is.

Desean I am most curious about... Assuming he moves on, how do we replace him? Seems like Vincent Jackson will end up staying in San Diego - he would have been my top choice - not sure the FO would have agreed...

I think most of us are realists. That’s a good thing. The question is whether you chose to be a pessimist or optimist. I think what we are seeing in this thread are the optimists are getting tired of the constant drone of the pessimists. Perhaps they are trying too hard to turn that frown...

I think it is great. The more they do to take games away from Sunday's 1's and 4's, the less need there is to buy sunday ticket! I'd also love to see Monday Night DH's be the norm.

Say Andy resigned/stepped down 7 years ago.All other things being the same, would it be fair to say you would be happier with the last 7 years if someone other than Andy was the coach? So since the coach has been the same for 13 years, the last 7 years are somehow less of an accomplishment? If...
